In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (h) of rule 1 of Schedule E to the Orissa Value Added Tax Act, 2004 (Orissa Act 4 of 2005), the State Government do hereby authorize all Assistant Commissioners of Sales Tax appointed under sub-section (2) of section 3 of the said Act to exercise the powers of Tax Recovery Officers within the local limits of their respective jurisdictions.
