1. Definitions - In this Schedule, unless the context otherwise required

1(h) "Tax Recovery Officer" means any Officer of the Government not below the rank of Sales Tax Officer who may be authorised by the Government, by general or special notification, to exercise the powers of a Tax Recovery Officer and Government may appoint more than one such Officer and specify their local jurisdiction.
