In pursuance in the provision of sub-section (2) of section 8A of the West Bengal Sales Tax Act, 1994 (West Ben.Act XLIX of 1994), the Governor is pleased hereby to amend the notification No.556-F.T. dated the 24th April, 2007, published in the Kolkata Gazette, Extraordinary, PART-I, dated the 24th April, 2007 (hereinafter referred to as the said notification):-

Amendment

In the said notification, in paragraph 1,-

(a) in item (1), for the words "retired Additional Commissioner of Sales Tax". substitute the words "retired Additional Commissioner of Commercial Taxes" ;

(b) in item (2), for the words "Additional Commissioner of Sales Tax", substitute the words "Additional Commissioner of Commercial Taxes";

(c) in item (3), for the words "Additional Commissioner of Sales Tax", substitute the words "Additional Commissioner of Commercial Taxes";
