In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (5) of section 4 of the Rajasthan Value Added Tax Act, 2003 (Rajasthan Act No. 4 of 2003), the State Government being of the opinion that it is expedient in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in Schedule III appended to the said Act; namely: -

AMENDMENT

The existing S.No. 4 and entries thereto shall be substituted by the following; namely:-

" 4

All types of pulses wheather whole, split or broken from including besan thereof.

(i) that the tax already paid to the Government, if any, shall not be refunded;

(ii) that the tax, if collected or charged shall be paid to the Government; and

(iii) that this shall remain in force up to 31.3.2008 unless withdrawn earlier."

This notification shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from 08.05.2006.
