In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Orissa Entry Tax (Amendment) Act, 2004 (Orissa Act 1 of 2005), the State Government do hereby appoint the 1^st day of March, 2005 as the date on which the said Act shall come into force.
