In exercise of the powers conferred by section 25-D of the Jammu and Kashmir General Sales Tax Act, 1962, the Government hereby direct that in notification SRO 172 - dated : 07.05.2007 after clause (10) the following shall be added:-

"11. That the provisions of clause (1) to clause (10) shall also apply mutatis mutandis to the arrears payable under the Central Sales Tax Act, 1956."

Provided that the conditions stipulated in notification SRO-172 dated : 07.05.2007 are met/ fulfilled by or before 06.11.2007.
