In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to sub-section (2) of Section 57 of the Madhya Pradesh Vat Act, 2002 (No. 20 of 2002), the State Government, hereby, makes the following amendments in this department's Notification No. A-3-8-2010-l-V(53), dated 20th April 2010, namely :-

AMENDMENT

In the said notification, in the table,-

(i) after serial number 1, the following serial number and entry relating thereto shall be inserted, namely :-

"1-A. Bidi";

(ii) after serial number 4, the following serial number and entry relating thereto shall be inserted, namely :-

"4-A Mobile Phones and parts thereof Cellular handset and parts thereof;

(iii) after serial number 7, the following serial number and entries relating thereto shall be inserted, namely :-

"8. Packing materials, ropes and twines.

9. Spices.

10. Tendupatta.

11. All kinds of hosiery goods and readymade garments";

2. These amendments shall come into force with effect from 15th February 2014.
