In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (2 of Section 14 of the Bihar Value Added Tax Act, 2005 the Governor of Bihar is pleased to make the following amendment to Departmental notification No. S.O. 43, dated 4th May, 2006, namely-

Amendment

1. For the present entries in column (2) of serial number 7 of the Table appended to departmental notification number S.O. 43, dated 4th May, 2006 (as amended from time to time), the following entries shall be substituted, namely-

Tobacco and tobacco products, except biri, unmanufactured tobacco (commonly known as 'Khaini'), and other unmanufactured tobacco used in manufacture of biri.

3. This notification shall come into force with effect from the date of its issue.
