In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 6 of the Odisha Entry Tax Act, 1999 (Odisha Act 11 of 1999) the State Government having been satisfied that it is necessary so to do in the public interest, do hereby direct that the scheduled goods specified below which will be procured into the local area by the Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services, Hyderabad for deployment at coastal area of Odisha through the Chief Executive, Chilika Development Authority, Wetland Research & Training Centre (WRTC) at Barkul, Khurda for providing Tsunami alerts and high wave alerts in coastal Odisha, shall be exempted from levy of tax under the said Act subject to condition that the Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services, Hyderabad shall furnish a copy of the certificate in prescribed pro forma as appended in Finance Department Office Memorandum No. 36246/F., dated the 20th October, 2012 duly signed by the authorised officer of their organisation to the officer-in-charge of check gate through which the goods enter into the State and another copy of such certificate shall accompany the consignment during transit.
