In exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the West Bengal Finance Act, 2012 (West Ben. Act II of 2012) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Governor is pleased hereby to appoint-

(1) the 1st day of April, 2010 as the date on which clause (4) and clause (5) of section 4 of the said Act, shall be deemed to have come into force;

(2) the 1st day of April, 2011, as the date on which clause (7) of section 5 of the said Act, shall be deemed to have come into force;

(3) the 1st day of September, 2011, as the date on which clause (8), clause (11) and sub-clause (b) of clause (12), of section 5 of the said Act, shall be deemed to have come into force;

(4) the remaining provisions, excepting sub-clause (b) of clause 16, of section 5, shall come into force with effect from 1st day of April, 2012.
