In exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the West Bengal Finance Act, 2011 (West Ben. Act VII of 2011) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Governor is pleased hereby to appoint—

(a) section 1 of the said Act shall come into force with immediate effect;

(b) the 1st day of April, 2005, as the date on which sub-clause (a) of clause (4), sub-clause (c) of clause (7), and sub-clause (b) of clause (8), of section 5 of the said Act shall be deemed to have come into force;

(c) the 1st day of April, 2007, as the date on which sub-clause (a) of clause (8) of section 5 of the said Act shall be deemed to have come into force;

(d) the 16th day of January, 2009, as the date on which sub-clause (a) and sub- clause (b) of clause (24) of section 5 of the said Act shall be deemed to have come into force;

(e) the 1st day of April, 2009, as the date on which sub-clause (a) of clause (13) of section 5 of the said Act shall be deemed to have come into force;

(f) the 1st day of April, 2010, as the date on which sub-clause (b) of clause (1), sub-clause (a) and sub-clause (b) of clause (2), sub-clause (b) of clause (4), clause (11), sub-clause (c) of clause (13), and clause (22), of section 5 of the said Act shall be deemed to have come into force;

(g) the 1st day of October, 2011, as the date on which clause (16) of section 5 of the said Act shall come into force;

(h) the 1st day of September, 2011, as the date on which the provisions of section 4 and the remaining provisions of section 5, of the said Act shall come into force.
