the State Government consider it necessary to relocate the existing unified checkgate at Laxmannath Road by shifting it to a new place at Tegadia and Padhiaripur in the District of Balasore with a view to preventing evasion of tax under the Orissa Value Added Tax Act, 2004.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 74 of the Orissa Value Added Tax Act, 2004 (Orissa Act of 2005) and in supersession of the notification of the Government of Orissa in the Finance Department No-35104/F., dated the 16th August, 2004, the State Government do hereby direct the setting up of checkgates and creation of a barrier at the place specified in column (2) of the Schedule below with effect from 16th July,2010.
