The State Government intent to increase the rate of tax from 4 percent to 5 percent on declared goods as specified in Section 14 of the Central Sales Tax Act, 1956, other than those specified in Schedule -I in S. No. 40 and "Cotton Yarn (other than cotton yarn in hank)" in S. No. 10(b) of Part II of the schedule II under the Chattisgarh Value added Tax Act, 2005.

2. This notice is being given in pursuance of the requirement under sub-setion 9(2) of section 15-A of the Chattisgarh Value added Tax Act, 2005.
