In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Goa Value Added Tax (Fifth Amendment) Act, 2011 (Goa Act 2 of 2011) (hereinafter referred to as the "said Act"), the Government of Goa hereby appoints the 1st day of April, 2011, as the date on which the said Act shall come into force.
