In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the west Bengal Taxation Laws (Amendment) Act, 2010 (West Ben. Act CVI of 2010) hereinafter referred to as the said Act, the Governor is pleased hereby to appoint-

(a) the 1st day of September, 2010, as the date on which Section 1 of the said Act shall come into force.

(b) the 1st day of April, 2010, as the date on which clause (2) of Section 3, Clause (1), Clause (2) and Clause (4) of Section 4 and Clause (1) and clause (2) of Section 5 shall be deemed to have come into force.

(c) the 1st day of September, 2010, as the date on which the remaining provisions of the said act shall come into force.
