In exercise of the powers conferred by subsection (2) of Section-14 of the Bihar Value Added Tax Act, 2005, (Act No. 27/2005) the Governor of Bihar is pleased to make the following amendments in Schedule III and Schedule I appended to the said Act :

AMENDMENTS

1. Serial no. 7 and its corresponding entry of Schedule III appended to the said Act shall be substituted as follows :

"7 All types of yarn including jute yarn and jute twine and sewing thread but excluding cotton and silk yarn in hank and cone"

2. Serial no. 16 and its corresponding entry of Schedule I appended to the said Act shall be substituted as follows :

"16 Cotton and Silk yarn in hank and cone"

2. This notification shall come into force with effect from the date of issue..
