In exercise of the powers conferred by subsection (2) of Section-14 of the Bihar Value Added Tax Act, 2005, (Act No. 27/2005) the Governor of Bihar is pleased to make the following amendments in Schedule- III, part-1 and Schedule- I appended to the said Act :

AMENDMENTS

1. Serial No. 8 and its corresponding entry of part-1 of Schedule III appended to the said

Act shall be substituted as follows:

"8. All utensils, including pressure cookers and pans excluding utensils made of precious metals and brass and bell metals"

2. Serial No- 30 and its corresponding entry of Schedule I appended to the said Act shall be substituted as follows:

"30. Handicrafts and household articles including utensils made of brass and bell metal."

3. This notification shall come into force with effect from the date of issue.
