In exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the West Bengal Finance Act, 2010 (West Ben.Act II of 2010) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Governor is pleased hereby to appoint -

(a) the 1st day of April, 2010, as the date on which section 1 of the said Act shall come into force;

(b) the 1st day of April, 2004, as the date on which section 2 shall be deemed to have come into force;

(c) the 1st day of April, 2005, as the date on which sub-clause (c) clause (8) of section 6 shall be deemed to have come into force;

(d) the 1st day of August, 2006, as the date on which sub-clause (a) of clause (10) of section 6 shall be deemed to have come into force;

(e) the 1st day of April, 2007, as the date on which sub-clause (d) of clause (13), of section 6 shall be deemed to have come into force;

(f) the 1st day of April, 2010, as the date on which the remaining provisions of the said Act shall come into force.
