In pursuance of clause (b) read with clauses (c) and (e) of sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Orissa Value Added Tax Act, 2004 (Orissa Act 4 of 2005) and in supersession of the notification of the Government of Orissa in the Finance Department No. 21482/F., dated the 9th May, 2007 the State Government do hereby appoint Shri Satrughana Pujahari, a member of Orissa Superior Judicial Service as the Chairman of the Orissa Sales Tax Tribunal, Cuttack in place of Shri Chitta Ranjan Dash, O.S.J.S. (Senior Branch) whose services are placed at the disposal of Home Department in the Finance Department order No. 2902/F., dated the 14th January, 2009.

This will take immediate effect from the date Shri Satrughana Pujahari assumes the charge as such.
