In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) (a) of Section 1 of the Andhra Pradesh Value Added Tax (Amendment) Act, 2009 (Act. No.4 of 2009), the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby appoint 1st May, 2009 as the date from which sections 2,3,4,5 and 6 of the said Act (Act. No.4 of 2009) shall come into force.
