In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Orissa Entry Tax Act, 1999 (Orissa Act 11 of 1999), the State Government having been satisfied that it is necessary so to do in the public interest, do hereby exempt the Scheduled goods brought into the local area from levy of the tax under the said Act which are procured by the donor agencies/organisations for exclusive use of same as material/equipment in the rehabilitation and reconstruction work in the flood affected areas with effect from 17th day of November, 2008:

Provided that, the concerned donor agencies/organizations are duly authorised by the Special Relief Commissioner, Orissa or the Collector of the concerned District to undertake such rehabilitation and reconstruction work in the flood affected areas:

Provided further that, the donor agencies/organisations shall furnish necessary certificate in the proforma (annexed herewith) as annexure to the effect that those materials will be used in the rehabilitation and reconstruction work in the flood affected areas.

This notification shall remain in force till 31st day of December, 2009.
