In exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (1) of section 22D of the West Bengal Sales Tax Act, 1994 (West Ben. Act XLIX of 1994)(hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Governor is pleased hereby to make the following amendment in this Departmental notification No. 2984-F.T., dated the 1st September, 2004. (hereinafter referred to as the said notification):—

Amendment

In the said notification, for the words, figures and letter "conferred by section 22D" substitute the words, figures, letter and brackets "conferred by sub-section (1) of section 22D"

2. This notification shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from the 1st day of September, 2008.
