In exercise of the powers conferred by entries at serial No. 44 of First Schedule of the Assam Value Added Tax Act, 2003 (Assam Act VIII of 2005) hereinafter referred to as the principal Act and in continuation of the earlier Notification No. FTX.55/05/Pt-II/22 dated 8th August, 2005, the Governor of Assam is hereby pleased to notify the following items for the purposes of the said serial of First Schedule, namely:-

"(xiii) Bell metal and brass products, namely - Kahi, batti, thali, ban kahi, ban batti, sarai, ban sarai, bota, lota, ghoti, hata, khonti, koloh, charia, glass, spoon, tray, japi, dunari, tow, pitali, saki, gocha, murti, maihang.

(xiv) Endi, Muga and Pat products, namely - handloom cloth and made ups of endi, muga and pat handloom cloth."

This notification shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
