The West Bengal Sales Tax - Notifications

Body NOTIFICATION No.1470-F.T., Dated 22nd September, 2008.-

In exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (4) of section 52 of the West Bengal Sales Tax Act, 1994 (West Ben.Act XLIX of 1994) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Governor is pleased hereby to appoint the officers specified in column (2) of the Table below as the Tax Recovery Officer in respect of the corresponding areas specified in column (3) of the said Table over which they shall exercise jurisdiction for the purpose of section 52, section 53, section 54, section 55 and section 56 of, and the rules in Schedule X to the said Act.

This notification shall come into force with effect from the 25th day of September, 2008.
