In exercise of the power conferred by sub-rule (2) of rule 266A of the West Bengal Sales Tax Rules. 1995, as subsequently amended, the Governor is pleased hereby to appoint Shri S.N.Brahmachari, retired Additional Commissioner of Sales Tax, as the Chairman of the West Bengal Sales Tax Settlement Commission established under sub-section (1) of section 8A of the West Bengal Sales Tax Act, 1994 (West Ben.Act XLIX of 1994), with immediate effect.
