NOTIFICATION NO. S.O. 77, Dated 13th September, 2007

In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section(2) of section-14 of Bihar Value Added Tax Act, 2005, the State Government makes following amendments in Part I of Schedule III to the said Act :-

Amendment

(1) Serial number 39 and its corresponding entries of Part I of Schedule III appended to the said Act shall be substituted in the following way, namely:

chanachur, bhujia, dalmoot, fried potato chips and salted peanuts.

(2) Serial number 135 and its corresponding entries of Part I of Schedule III appended to the said Act shall be substituted in the following way, namely:

Vanaspati also known as vegetable ghee, sold under various trade names and descriptions, such as Dalda, Kusum, etc

(3) After Serial number 142 of Part I of Schedule III appended to the said Act new Serial No.143 is inserted as following:

143. Stone Chips, Stone Boulders and Ballast.

2. This notification shall come into force with effect from the date of its issue.
