2. Definitions.-

In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires,

2(c). "Government Treasury" means a treasury or sub-treasury of the Union territory Government, which includes the main branch of State Bank of India at Puducherry, Karaikal, Yanam and the Syndicate Bank at Mahe and any branch of any other bank as may be notified by the Government from time to time;
