In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Gujarat Value Added Tax (Amendment) Act, 2007 (Guj. 10 of 2007), the Government of Gujarat hereby appoints the 1st April, 2007 to be the date on which the remaining provisions of the said Act shall come into force.
