In pursuance of sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the Orissa Value Added Tax Act, 2004 (Orissa Act 4 of 2005), the State Government do hereby appoint Shri Arun Kumar Samantray, I.A.S., Commissioner of Commercial Taxes, Orissa to be the Commissioner of Sales Tax, Orissa with effect from the date he assumes charge as such, for the purpose of the said Act.
