G.S.R. (E).-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (A) and clause (2) of sub-section (B) of section 68 of the Finance Act, 2006 (21 of 2006), the Central Government hereby appoints the 1st day of May, 2006, as the date on which the provisions of the said sub-section and the said clause of the said sub-section of the said Act shall come into force.
