In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 1 of the Goa Value Added Tax (First Amendment) Act, 2005 (Goa Act 15 of 2005) (hereinafter referred to as the "said Act"), the Government of Goa hereby appoints the 1st October, 2005 as the date on which the said Act shall come into force.
