The Jharkhand Value Added Tax Act, 2005 NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 23 of the Jharkhand Value Added Tax Act 2005 (Jharkhand Act 05, 2006), the Governor of Jharkhand is pleased to amend the following in Schedule-I of the said Act —

Amendment

1. In the serial no. 16 of the said Schedule, the word "and" is being deleted, which is before the word "flours", and thereafter: after the word "Maize": the following shall be added as "Kodo, Jau, Kutki, Maduwa, Gondali, Matar, Murhi and Lawa of all cereals".

2. In the said Schedule, after the serial no. 62, the following serial nos. 63, 64, 65 and 66 shall be added -

66	Agarbatti or Scented Agarbatti, Stick, Dhoop, Dhoop Kathi, Lohbhana, Sambrana and Hawan materials

3. The serial no. 5, 47 and 50 of the said Schedule are being deleted.

4. This Notification shall be effective from 1^st April, 2006.
