In exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the West Bengal Value Added Tax Act, 2003 (West Ben. Act XXXVII of 2003), the Governor is pleased hereby to appoint the 1st day of April, 2005 as the date on which all the provisions except the provision of clause (b) of sub section (1) of section 55, section 56, section 57, section 58, section 59 of the said Act, shall come into force.
