Notification No.1901 F.R., dated 10^th July, 2003

In exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (1) of section 18 of the West Bengal Sales Tax Act, 1994 (West Ben. Act XLIX of 1994), the Governor is pleased hereby to make the following amendments in this department notification No.1109-F.T., dated the 20^th April, 1995, as subsequently amended (hereafter referred to as the said notification):-

Amendments

In the said notification, in the Table,-

(1) in PART A, in the entry in column (3) against serial No.145 in column (1), for the word "Twelve", substitute the word "Four"

(2) In PART B,-

(a) in the entry in column (3) against serial No.5, for the words "Twelve decimal five five", substitute the word "Seventeen";

(b) in the entry in column (3), against serial No.6, for the word "Twenty", substitute the word "Twenty-five";

2. In this notification-

(a) clause (1) shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1^st day of April, 2003 and

(b) the remaining clause shall come into force on the 15^th day of July, 2003.
