Notification -No. 842 F.R., dated 31st March, 2003

In exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the West Bengal Finance Act, 2003 (West Ben. Act III of 2003) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Governor is pleased hereby to appoint the 1st day of April, 2003, as the date on which section 1, and the remaining provisions of the said Act, other than the provisions in respect of which the said Act provides otherwise, shall come into force.
