Notification No. 2304 F.T., dated 29th July, 2002

In exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the West Bengal Taxation Laws (Amendment) Act, 2002 (West Ben. Act IX of 2002) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Governor is pleased hereby to appoint the 1st day of August, 2002, as the date on which section 1 of the said Act and the remaining provisions of the said Act, other than the provisions in respect of which the said Act provides otherwise, shall come into force.
