Notification No. 926-F.T., dated 27th March, 2002

In exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the West Bengal Finance Act, 2002 (West Ben. Act I of 2002) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Governor is pleased hereby to appoint-

(a) the 1st day of April, 2002, as the date on which section 1 of the said Act shall came into force;

(b) the 5th day of April, 2002,, as the date on which sub-clause (b) of clause (2) of section 3 of the said Act shall came in to force;

(c) the 1st day of January 2002, as the date on which section 5 of the said Act shall come in to force; and

(d) the 1st day of April, 2002, as the date on which the remaining provisions of the said Act, other than the provisions in respect of which of the said Act provides otherwise, shall came into force.
