2. Definitions

(1) In these rules, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context,-

(n) "Patrolman" means the person appointed by that designation to assist the Commissioner and such person shall exercise such power and perform such duty as may be specified in these rules or in the order made in this behalf in writing by the Commissioner;
