2. Definitions

(1) In these rules, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context,-

(k) "Deputy Commissioner" means the person appointed by the designation of Deputy Commissioner of Commercial Taxes by the State Government under sub-section (1) of section 3 to assist the Commissioner;
