In pursuance of sub-rule (2) of rule 1 of the Tamil Nadu Goods and Services Tax (Seventh Amendment) Rules, 2021, published in the Commercial Taxes and Registration Department Notification No.SRO A-16(b)/2021, in Part Ill-Section 1(a) of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, Extraordinary, dated 27th September, 2021, the Governor of Tamil Nadu, hereby notifies the 01st day of January, 2022, as the date from which the provisions of sub-rule (2), sub-rule (3), clause (i) of sub-rule (6) and sub-rule (7) of rule 2 of the said rules, shall come into force.
