In exercise of the powers conferred by section 164 of the Uttar Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (U.P. Act no 1 of 2017) read with rule 3 of the Uttar Pradesh Goods and Services Tax (Fortieth Amendment) Rules, 2020 (hereinafter referred to as the rules), made by Notification no.-488/XI-2-20-9(42)/17-U.P.G.S.T.Rules-2017-Order-(123)-2020, Dated:May 26, 2020, the Governor, hereby appoints the 8th day of June, 2020, as the date from which the said provisions of the rules, shall come into force.
