In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 15 of the Karnataka Tax on Professions, Trades, Callings and Employments Act,1976 (Karnataka Act 35 of 1976), the Government of Karnataka hereby appoints the Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Government of Karnataka and/ or the officers authorised by him in this behalf, as its agent/s responsible for collection of the tax under the said Act from persons covered under Serial No.s 21, 22 and 23 of the Schedule to the said Act.
