In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (4) of section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (U.P. Act no 1 of 2017), the Governor, on the recommendations of the Council, hereby makes the following amendment in Notification no. KA.NI.-2-687/XI-9(47)/17- U.P.Act-l-2017-Order-(27)-2019 Dated 01 May, 2019, namely:-

Amendment

In the said notification, in the Table, against serial number 2, for the entry in column (2), the following entry shall be substituted, namely: -

"Cement falling in chapter heading 2523 in the first schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975)."

2. This notification shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from 1st October, 2019.
