Body Notification No.ll(2)/CTR/591(e)/2018, G.O. Ms. No. 79. Commercial Taxes and Registration (B1), Dated 10th July 2018.

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (Tamil Nadu Act 19 of 2017) and in supersession of the Commercial Taxes and Registration Department Notification No.ll(2)/CTR/562(b)/2017, published in Part II- Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary, dated the 14th July, 2017, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby appoints the following classes of officers appointed under the Tamil Nadu Value Added Tax Act, 2006 (Tamil Nadu Act 32 of 2006) as specified in column (2) of the Table below, to be the respective officers for the purposes of the said Tamil Nadu Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (Tamil Nadu Act 19 of 2017) as specified in column (3) of the Table below:-

The Table.

Serial Number.	Designation of the officers under the Tamil Nadu Value Added Tax Act, 2006 (Tamil Nadu Act 32 of 2006).	Designation of the officers for the purpose of tht Tamil Nadu Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (Tamil Nadu Act 19 of 2017).

(e)	Assistant Commissioner of Commercial Taxes	Assistant Commissioner of State Tax;
(f)	Commercial Tax Officer	State Tax Officer;
(g)	Deputy Commercial Tax Officer.	Deputy State Tax Officer.

2. This notification shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from the 28th day of June, 2017.
