In exercise of the powers conferred by section 128 of the Assam Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (Assam Act No. XXVIII of 2017), the Governor of Assam, on the recommendation of the Council, hereby rescinds the notification of the Government of Assam in the Finance (Taxation) Department No. FTX.56/2017/Pt-I/100 dated the 21st February, 2018, published in the Gazette of Assam, Extraordinary, vide number 81, dated the 23rd February, 2018, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such rescission.

This notification shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from 7th day of March, 2018.
