KARNATAKA TAX ON PROFESSION, TRADES, CALLINGS AND EMPLOYMENTS ACT, 1976 NOTIFICATION

S.O.166.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 14 of the Karnataka Tax on Professions, Trades, Callings and Employments Act, 1976 (Karnataka Act 35 of 1976) and in supersession of all the Notifications issued from time to time, the Government of Karnataka hereby appoints the Commissioner of Commercial Taxes as the Commissioner of Professions Tax for the whole of the State of Karnataka, the Joint Commissioner of Commercial Taxes (legal) as the Joint Commissioner of Professions Tax for the whole of the State of Karnataka and the Deputy Commissioners of Commercial Taxes (Appeals) of the respective Commercial Taxes Divisions specified in column (2) of the Table below, as the Deputy Commissioners of Professions Tax, under teh aforesaid Act in respect of the areas specified in the corresponding entries in column (3) thereof.
