In exercise of the powers conferred by section 164 of the Tamil Nadu Goods'and Services Tax Act, 2017 (Tamil Nadu Act 19 of 2017), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby appoints the 1st day of February, 2018 as the date from which the provisions of serial number 2(vii) and 2(viii) of the Commercial Taxes and Registration Department Notification No.SRO A-40(a)/2017, published at pages 1-14 in Part Ill-Section 1(a) of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, Extraordinary, dated the 30th August, 2017, shall come into force.
