In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 23 of the Uttar Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (U.P. Act no. 1 of 2017), read with section 21 of the Uttar Pradesh General Clauses Act, 1904 (U.P. Act no. 1 of 1904), the Governor on the recommendations of the Council, is pleased to make the following amendment in the Government notification No. KA.NI.-2-1414/XT-9(15)/17-U.P.Act-1-2017Order-(48) -2017 dated: September 27,2017, namely:-

AMENDMENT

In the aforesaid notification, in the Table -

(i) for serial number 9 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial and entries shall columnwise be substituted, namely:-

Textile (handloom products), Handmade shawls,stoles and scarves

Including 50, 58, 61, 62, 63";

(ii) after serial number 28 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial and entries shall columnwise be inserted, namely:-

"29	Chain stitch	Any chapter
30	Crewel, namda, gabba	Any chapter
31	Wicker willow products	Any chapter
32	Toran	Any chapter
33	Articles made of shola	Any chapter".

2. This notification shall be deemed to have come into force on October 13, 2017.
