In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 10 of the Uttar Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (U.P. Act no. 1 of 2017), read with section 21 of the Uttar Pradesh General Clauses Act. 1904 (U.P. Act no, 1 of 1904), on the recommendations of the Council, the Governor is pleased to make the following amendments in the notification KA.NI.-2-849/XI-9(47)/17-U.P.Act-1 -2017-Order-(16) -2017Dated: June 30, 2017, namely:-

In the said notification,-

(i) for the words ''seventy-five lakh rupees'', the words, "one crore" shall be substituted;

(ii) for the words "fifty lakh rupees", the words, "seventy-five lakh rupees" shall be substituted;

(2) This notification shall be deemed to have come into effect from the thirteenth day of October, 2017.
