In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Chhattisgarh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (No. 7 ol 2017), Government hereby appoint the classes of officers mentioned in the column No. (2) of the following table and functioning under the Chhattisgarh Value Added Tax Act, 2005 (No. 2 of 2005) as officers with corresponding designations in column (3) of the table for the purpose of said Chhattisgarh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017

2. This notification shall be deemed to have come into force from 1st July, 2017.
